At first glance, I had a chance
& embraced life in second’s hands
I looked to fill a void inside
I came across a friend
A lady gliding free cross
The seas of who is free
Spirited and inside I
I saw a chance for love.
And so it happened.
Right Before friends
I never wished for this to end
and then began a downward decent
to never seeing her again
the moment when the path in which
“I met you there, remember?
I do not remember the day, but
It’s right there in November.”
Cold out and late, and you
were full of energy and LIFE.
And I sat there and marveled at your
every word of life.
My eyes have not seen you
in eons. They truly miss you.
I’m as confused as you are about me,
but my eyes genuinely miss you.
I’m not perfect, no saint, and can’t fly.
But you, as a friend, would stop my long cry.
There is an enormous field of force,
blocking me from you
but all I wish to do is say, “Hello.”
There is nothing you can give me
that I may deserve.
But from the kindness of my heart,
to the kindness of your spirit,
I ask,
Will you please be my friend?
